Risk assessment

Workplace risk assessment

Risk assessment is a systematic process of identifying hazards in the workplace, evaluating the risks these hazards pose to the health and safety of employees, and determining appropriate measures to reduce or eliminate those risks. The purpose of risk assessment is to ensure a safe and healthy working environment and to prevent accidents, injuries and occupational diseases.

Risk assessment is a legal obligation for employers in many countries, including Slovenia, and is a key part of ensuring occupational health and safety. It is used to plan preventive measures, develop safety instructions, and train employees on safe work.
